As the President of Jon Casey Construction, Inc. (JCCI), a company specializing in the installation of doors, millwork, custom cabinetry, and stairs, my journey in the construction industry is deeply rooted in a legacy of hard work and craftsmanship passed down from my father, Mel Casey. Growing up alongside my older brother, Mel Jr., we were inspired by our father's dedication to his craft, although we never had the chance to work alongside him before his passing.
Fortunately, our mother ensured that we were surrounded by positive influences and opportunities for learning and growth. One such opportunity was at Morning Star Dairy, run by our mother’s family, where we learned it was “okay” to get dirty and the value of hard work, creativity, and the importance of seeing a job through to completion, no matter what it took.
In the summer of 1999, Mel and I embarked on our own journey into the construction world, starting with millwork installation. Though those initial months didn't bring much financial gain, they instilled in us a profound appreciation for the trade and a determination to excel in it.
After graduating from high school in 2002, I continued to hone my skills under the guidance of my uncle, Dave Casey, focusing on finish carpentry projects. In May of 2006, I established Jon Casey Construction, laying the foundation for what would become JCCI.
In 2008, I officially incorporated JCCI, marking a significant milestone. Today, with a team of over 75 dedicated employees, we undertake projects across California, collaborating with national and local builders in both single-family and multi-family housing markets.
I hold several licenses, including California C6, C17, and Class B Contractor’s licenses. I am also deeply committed to community service, serving as a member of the Riverdale Community Foundation and actively participating in outreach ministries at my church and various nonprofit organizations in the area.
